About the Candidate

Erick Nyatenya

A Coral Springs resident. A professional. A neighbor.

Erick Nyatenya has called Coral Springs home and brings to this race the mindset of someone who has spent a career solving complex problems with data, discipline, and accountability — as a Cloud Engineer.

That same approach is what Coral Springs city government needs. Residents deserve a Commissioner who reads the budget line by line, asks hard questions before approving expenditures, and measures results — not intentions.

Erick is running for City Commissioner, Seat 3 because the decisions made at City Hall affect everyday life in this city: how long you sit in traffic, whether the business district is growing or stagnating, and whether the city is spending your tax dollars wisely.

"Coral Springs deserves a Commissioner who comes prepared, asks the right questions, and follows the data — not the politics."

Why I'm Running

Fiscal accountability starts at the dais

Every budget vote is a choice about whose priorities matter. I want to be in that room — asking questions and demanding justification for every dollar.

Local business deserves a champion

Small and mid-size businesses are the backbone of our tax base and our community. City Hall should be making their lives easier, not harder.

Infrastructure is a quality-of-life issue

Traffic and road conditions affect every resident every day. These problems have data-driven solutions — and I intend to pursue them.
